A little bit about H20 for Life:
It was started by a teacher in Minnesota who wanted to provide water for a friend in Kenya, started a school fundraiser, rose over $13,000 and then decided to go further and actually create the organization, H20 for Life.
In regards to what they do, H20 for Life partners with schools in the United States to collectively help make clean water accessible and sustainable to schools in countries like Ethiopia, Philippines, and Mozambique who do not currently enjoy easy access to water. Specifically, they call their projects WASH (Water, Sanitation, & Hygiene) projects as they hope to provide these 3 things to all of the schools they serve. We will be raising money for a particular school in the Philippines.

· Every 15 seconds a child dies due to lack of access to clean water.
· Women and children can spend 60% of their day walking to collect water
· 4,500 children a day die due to unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation
· Without access to latrine, girls stop going to school once they reach puberty
